Fees & Low-Cost Options

How much does therapy cost?

Please contact us for details of our fees.

We are recognised specialist providers for the insurance companies shown below. You may need a referral from a psychiatrist or GP if you wish to use health insurance. If you are self-referring or self-financing, please contact us directly via the ‘Contact’ page as this does not require a medical referral.

All fees are subject to annual review.

Low-Cost Options

We are able to offer psychotherapy, counselling and supervision at lower rates via our Training Therapists for the Future system. This is two-fold: we have both recently-qualified junior psychotherapists, psychologists and counsellors working with us, and a number of trainees. All our therapists are supervised and mentored in-house, meaning that we can provide a truly bespoke and high quality service, based on a wide breadth of experience, regardless of whether you choose our low-cost or regular cost option.

Trainees

We have a number of trainees who are on placement with us, and who are in the final stages of their training at the various well-established psychological training institutes in London. As such, they will already have undertaken at least 3 years of their training and will already have had experience of working with clients in a number of different settings, such as GP surgeries, the private health sector and the NHS, mental health charities such as Mind, counselling centres within universities, and so on.

We are able to offer them a broad sweep of experience in working with various different issues, and they are heavily supervised and mentored, both by their respective colleges and within our own clinic.

The trainees will see clients during daytime hours (8am-4pm). You will be invited for an initial session with our Clinical Director, Beverley Blackman. We are able to offer ongoing therapy with our trainees at a significantly discounted rate.

Junior Associates

Our Junior Associates have completed a 5-year training and will hold their full BACP, UKCP or BPS registration as a qualified counsellor, psychotherapist or psychologist. They will have done a significant amount of work during their placements, and will have gained a good deal of experience of working with different presentations in different mental health settings. Our Junior Associates remain under close supervision, and they continue to develop their skills by undertaking a mandatory programme of Continued Professional Development.

Our Junior Associates work at different locations around central London, meaning that therapy is easily accessible no matter where you are based. They are also able to offer evening appointments.

You will be invited for an initial appointment with our Clinical Director, Beverley Blackman, who will then recommend which therapist to see. Again, we are able to offer therapy with our Junior Associates at a lower rate.

All our junior associates and trainees ascribe to the BACP, UKCP and BPS Ethical Framework and are registered members of the appropriate registering body, and we are proud to have them working with us.

Please note that fees for low-cost work cannot currently be covered by insurance.
